Porter Valley is ideal for couples that plan to have a back-to-back wedding: a late afternoon ceremony that goes straight into cocktail hour and the reception. Porter Valley Country Club is also great for Sikh weddings where the ceremony will be at a Gurdwara and afterwards come here for cocktail hour and the reception.

Cocktail hour is held on the Pinehurst Terrace. The staff at Porter Valley Country Club will work with your outside caterer and setup the bar. All beverages - alcoholic and non-alcoholic must be provided by Porter Valley Country Club.
Porter Valley offers round tables with seating for 10 guests per table.
During Cocktail Hour:
During cocktail hour and the reception the bar will usually be setup on the Pinehurst Terrace so as not to occupy space inside the banquet room.

Porter Valley Country Club welcomes outside caterers. Please note: outside caterers must be licensed and insured with at least $2M in liability insurance and list Porter Valley Country Club as an addirionally insured.
Caterers are not granted kitchen access but are welcome to setup a satellite kitchen.

Outdoor Ceremony Flame:
Outdoor ceremony flames are allowed, no worries.
Indoor Ceremony Flame:
Indor ceremoy flames are allowed only in case of inclement weather. Most couples opt to have their ceremony on the beautiful terrace anyway overlooking the golf course. But don't worrry, in case the ceremoy has to be moved indoors, it can be.
Anand Karaj:
At ShaadiShop we recognize that traditionally Anand Karaj ceremonies take place at a gurdwara. If you opt to for a non-Gurdwara the ceremony, Porter Valley Country Club is experienced. Here are some tips as well.
Baraat:
The Porter Valley County Club has a large, spacious parking lot in front of the Club where you could have a really fun baraat. They are happy to welcome horse and car baraats.
In case of rain or inclement weather, and outdoor events will be moved indoors. For large events, such as Indian weddings, there are no other bookings. In other words, yours will be the only event on-property so the staff's focus is on your event.
