The hotel will setup bars in the Courtyard or in the foyer for your guests to enjoy cocktails, before your reception starts.
The Doubletree is happy to setup round tables seating between 8 to 10 guests per table. They can also set up King's (rectangular tables) which is popular for family and the wedding party.

During Cocktail Hour:
During cocktail hour the bars will be setup in the ballroom foyer. Most people choose to close the bars once the reception starts. So, guests are not disrupting your reception program. And bars typically re-open when dinner service starts.
During Reception:
During the reception, most couples prefer to have the bars inside the ballroom, vs. in the foyer as it breaks up the party, when they're in the foyer. But this will depend on how many guest tables are setup as well as the size of the dance floor.

The Doubletree doesn't have gazebos or pergolas to use for a mandap or altar. You're welcome to work with your decorator to design a mandap/altar. The hotel will provide the stage for the mandap/altar.
You're welcome to bring in any caterer that is licensed, bonded and insured. The hotel will require a $2 million dollar insurance policy as well as copy of their restaurant license. They may also require the caterer to do a site walk-through (which we recommend, anyway).
Outside caterers are not allowed to use the hotel's kitchen. They may setup a satellite kitchen at the hotel. They are responsible for setup and cleanup.

Outdoor Ceremony Flame:
Outdoor weddings with a ceremony flame are no worries.
Indoor Ceremony Flame:
Indoor ceremony flames are allowed with a fire permit obtained by the local Fire Marshal. The hotel does not take care of this. It's your responsibility to acquire the permit, pay any fees, and provide a copy of the permit to the hotel. Contact the Los Angeles Fire Department South Bureau.
Anand Karaj:

Baraat:
Baraats are no worries!
Permits:
A fire permit is required for an indoor ceremony flame. Contact the Los Angeles Fire Department.
You may required to obtain a permit for a horse baraat. Contact the city.
In case of rain or other inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors.
