The Venue

The Fremont Marriot Silicon Valley sits in one of the densest Indian population centers in the United States. The hotel features modern style with every comfort and convenience to ensure all of your guests arriving from around the world have a comfortable stay.

Events

The Marriott is a great venue for engagment parties, sangeets, mehndis, maiyas, weddings and receptions. The Grand Ballroom seats up to 600 for a ceremony and 450 for a reception. 

For anyone looking to have their events all indoors - the Marriott is a fantastic venue.

Location

The Fremont Marriott is in the East Bay. The closest BART station - the Fremont BART - is about 7 miles north of the hotel. Anyone flying into San Francisco International or Oakland Airport can hop on the BART to get to the hotel. From San Jose Airport, it would be best to drive.

The hotel does not have an airport shuttle.

These are capacities with a dance floor, so you can use these numbers to plan the number of invitations to mail.

Cocktail Hour Space

Cocktail hour is held in the ballroom foyer. 

Common Space Combos

Most couples have an indoor ceremony in the Grand Ballroom, followed by cocktail hour in the ballroom foyer and the reception in the Grand Ballroom. The hotel will work with you to flip the space from your ceremony to the reception.

Couples can have either the full day, with the time-gap in between the ceremony and the reception or the back-to-back wedding day, which goes straight into cocktail hour after the ceremony.

The hotel staff will be happy to work with you on scheduling and flipping the space for each of your events.

Banquet Tables

The Marriott offers round banquet tables that seat up to 10 guests.

Bar Set Up

During Cocktail Hour:

During cocktail hour the bars are setup in the ballroom foyer.

During Reception:

During the reception, depending on the number of guests the bars are setup inside the ballroom.

Gazebo Spaces

The Grand Ballroom does not have a pre-built gazebo or structure for a mandap. No worries, your decorator or designer can build that for you. The hotel will provide the staging.

Outside Catering

Outside caterers are welcome. 

Kitchen Access

Outside caterers are now allowed to use the Marriott's kitchen. However they can setup a satellite kitchen. Outside caterers are responsible for all setup and clean up. 

Alcohol Options

A ceremony flame is allowed indoors. Please note there is an approx. $1000 fire watch fee for indoor ceremonies with a flame. 

Anand Karaj:

The Marriott is happy to host your Anand Karaj. However, it's also a fantastic venue for couples getting married at the Fremont Gurdwara followed by a reception at the Marriott.
