The Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills blends French art de vivre with local modernity in one of the world's most famous city's. In the lobby guests can enjoy iconic LA flare by taking selfies at the hotel's very own step-and-repeat wall.

A newer property to South Asian weddings, the team there welcomes South Asian events and is excited to host them.

ShaadiShop recommends the Sofitel for engagement parties, bachelorette and bridal showers, mehndi, sangeet, garba, dholki, ceremonies, and receptions. It's also a fantastic venue for a cocktail party before the wedding, like this couple had, or a post-wedding brunch.

Given their location, you may want to organize a pre or post wedding event at any of the nearby attractions.

The Sofitel is opposite the Beverly Center, only about 2 miles from world-famous Rodeo Drive and Sunset Boulevard, close to beautiful beaches, Hollywood and more. The staff at the hotel will be more than happy to help your guests with tourist info.

Use capacities to plan invitations

The Sofitel is a boutique hotel. The unique spaces are off the beaten path for South Asian weddings, making any of the events you host here, unique. Riviera 31 is a sophisticated cocktail lounge featuring tableside cocktail preparation and a mediterranean style menu - a nice break from heavy desi food all weekend! They can arrange small parties for your bridal party in the Aviary or brunch in the Esterel Patio. There are several possibiliities!

Cocktail Hour Space

There are several options: the foyer of the Bevery Ballroom. Since they usually only book 1 large event at a time they can be flexible with the meeting space.

Guests per Table

Banquet tables seat up to 10 guests per table, comfortably.

Bar Set Up

During Cocktail Hour:

The bars will be setup in the Beverly Ballroom's foyer during cocktail hour. For other spaces bars can be setup in any of the areas.

During Reception:

The bar locations will depend on your guest count for the reception. If you're having more than 200 guests, we recommend keeping the bars in the foyer, to maximize room inside the ballroom.

Keep in Mind

Given their location, you may want to organize a Hollywood tour, day trip to Universal Studios, a picnic at the beach or a show at the Pantages theater. There's so much to do in the area! The staff at the Sofitel will be delighted to assist you with tourist info.

Their venues do not have gazebos/structures to be used for a mandap, altar, chuppah for a ceremony. Your decorator is welome to set one up at the hotel.

Outside Catering

Outside caterers are welcome. The caterer must provide a copy of their business license and proof of liability insurance.

Kitchen Access

Outside caterers are not given kitchen access. However they are welcome to setup a satellite kitchen at the hotel.

Baraat:

Enjoy a foot, car, or horse baraat at the Sofitel. Work with them on the logisitcs and path.

Rain Back Up

The hotel keeps an extra space open in case of inclement weather. The morning of the wedding, contact the hotel if you'd like to move any of the events indoors. Keep-in-mind, the venue needs a few hours to make necessary arrangements and setup, so make that call ASAP. If you're worried about rain/weather on your wedding day, make sure you talk about that with all of your vendors too - especially the decorator/florist regarding the mandap/arch.
