Located minutes from Long Beach Airport, out-of-town guests will love the convenience. Long Beach is central to LA and Orange County and the hotel is a short drive to downtown Long Beach and all its fun activities and sites.

Enjoy an outdoor ceremony in the Poolside Gazebo followed by lunch, cocktail hour and the reception in the Grand Ballroom foyer and Grand Ballroom. The swimming pool is shut down to the public during ceremonies.

 

Cocktail Hour Space

Cocktail hour is held in the Grand Ballroom foyer and may be coupled with the Rickenbacker room with limited seating for some guests who would like to sit during cocktail hour.

Banquet Tables

Round, rectangular (king's) and square tables are available. Tables can be configured in multiple ways. If you're interested in this venue, request a quote and to discuss layouts in more detail.
 

Guests per Table

Round tables seat up to 10 comfortably. Rectangular and square table seating capacities vary based on layout. Note: guests per table includes high chairs.

Bar Set Up

During Cocktail Hour:

Bars will be setup in the ballroom foyer.
 

During Reception:

Depending on the guest count and your wishes, bars can be setup in the ballroom or in the foyer. Since the ballroom seats max 300 with the bars inside the ballroom, if your guest count is 290-300, you might want to consider setting up the bars in the foyer, so the ballroom isn't maxed out.

Keep in Mind

The Long Beach Marriott is not too far from the Long Beach Convention Center. Definitely check to see what’s happening there and other major tourist attractions nearby,  on your wedding day. Long Beach is pretty much occupied during the annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach (April 7-9, 2017 and April 13-15, 2018).

Given their proximity to the airport this hotel hosts a lot of business and leisure travellers. On holiday weekends as well as weekends with big events in Long Beach, you’ll find this hotel will book quickly.

Ceremony Package Includes:

Chairs, guestbook and gift tables draped with white linen, water station draped in white linen, bridal changing room, complimentary self parking.

Reception Package Includes:

Round and king's tables, standard banquet chairs (see photo above), floor length linen in multiple color options with matching napkins (see color selection in photos above), wood parquet dance floor, sweetheart stage and table, cake table, buffet tables, event staff and banquet captain, 1 hotel room for the couple on the wedding night.

Complimentary self parking; no valet on site.
 

Hotel Rooms

Gazebo Spaces

The Poolside Gazebo has a built-in gazebo that can be used for a mandap/altar. See photo above. Refer to our Gazebo Mandaps Pinterest board for inspiration.

Outside Catering

Outside caterers are welcome. The caterer must provide a copy of their business license, proof of liability insurance of at least $1MM, and sign a waiver. All documents must be provided to the hotel at least 1 month before the event(s).

Please don't take these requirements lightly. Caterers that don't meet the requirements will not be allowed to work your events. Requirements apply to any and all companies providing any type of food - meals, desserts, apps, etc. The caterer should work directly with the hotel to provide a list of any items they will need from each other.

Kitchen Access

Caterers are given kitchen access on a case-by-case basis. If you're interested in this venue request a quote for more details.

Alcohol Options

Outdoor Ceremony Flame:

allowed, no worries.

Indoor Ceremony Flame:

An indoor ceremony flame is allowed as long as the flame does not extend beyond the vessel in which it is contained.
 

Anand Karaj:

An Anand Karaj ceremony can be arranged here. ShaadiShop recognizes an Anand Karaj ceremony is traditionally performed in a Gurdwara. Baraat:

The hotel has ample space for fun baraats via horse and car! Ele’s are not permitted.
