Seven Degrees is a highly customizable venue. With the most modern lighting and sound technology already built-into the venue, they offer a plethora of lighting and sound services that can be included in wedding packages. This is a unique event space for South Asian weddings. The venue features, sleek, modern architecture and built-in lighting, AV, and sound equipment that you can customize for your events; and wedding packages come with a wedding coordinator.
ShaadiShop recommends Seven-Degrees for engagement parties, mehndi, sangeet, dholki, ceremonies, and receptions, especially for events with about 200 guests. Sometimes couples will do their sangeet here and the ceremony and reception at one of the bigger resorts nearby as well. FYI, the city allows a max of 50 guests for weddings on the beach.
Seven Degrees is on Laguna Canyon Road across from The Festival of the Arts and next to the Sawdust Art & Craft Festival. And mere minutes from world-famous Laguna Beach, casual and fine dining, shops, and cafes.

The Media Lounge is outfitted with intelligent lighting (you can change lighting throughout your events), screens, LEDs, projectors and more all of which you have access to. In addition, DJ's can hook right up to Seven-Degrees' system instead of bringing all of that heavy equipment with them.
The Terrace features views of the surrounding canyon. Note: from November to April the Terrace is tented.
Cocktail hour is held in the Promenade or Terrace - depending on each couple's events and schedule.

Laguna Beach is extremely popular. During summer traffic delays on Laguna Canyon Road can be quite significant. Consider this when you're thinking about the wedding day schedule.
The Sawdust Art & Craft Festival takes place every summer and every winter. And The Festival of Arts Pageant of the Masters (awesome show!) is from the beginning of July thru the end of August every year. Traffic increases around Seven-Degrees during these events. Ceremony Package Includes:
Light wooden chairs with a gray cushion, guestbook and gift tables draped with white linen, staging.
Reception Package Includes:
Round, standard banquet chairs, white satin floor length linen, white, black or charcoal napkins, china, silverware, glassware, sweetheart table, cake table, buffet tables, event staff, space heaters. We will work with you to include sound, lighting, AV, and decor packages.
They have a parking lot with 150 spots at $15 each. They share the lot with the Sawdust Festival and when the Sawdust Festival is on, they reserve 1/2 the number of spots you will need. The rest of the guests can park in all day parking lots. More info here. The meters surrounding Seven Degrees max at 3 hours and the car HAS to be moved - can't just re-feed the meter. The venue doesn’t offer sleeping rooms on-site. There are several nearby hotels where you can setup room blocks. Some people accommodate guests at one of the nearby hotels and make special arrangements with the Laguna Beach Trolley to transport guests back and forth to Seven Degrees.

The venues at this property do not have a gazebo or structure to use for a mandap or arch. The hotel will set up a stage though, so talk to your decorator about bringing in a mandap/arch. Visit our Non-Gazebo Mandap, Pinterest board for inspiration.
Outside caterers are welcome. The caterer must provide a copy of their business license, proof of at least $1MM liability insurance and sign a waiver at least 14 days prior to the events. Other insurance policies apply, if you're interested in this venue, request a quote and we'd be happy to share the details.
Please don't take these requirements lightly. Caterers that don't meet the requirements will not be allowed to work your events. Requirements apply to any and all companies providing any type of food - meals, desserts, apps, etc. The caterer should work directly with the hotel to provide a list of any items they will need from each other.

Outdoor Ceremony Flame:
Allowed on the Terrace. During the summer and Christmas holidays, when the Sawdust Festival is going on, Seven Degrees works with the Sawdust Festival regarding loud music. If you're interested in this venue, request a quote for more details.
Indoor Ceremony Flame:
Not allowed indoors. Most couples choose to get married in the outdoor Terrace anyway, as that's the venue with beautiful views in Laguna's beautiful weather.
Anand Karaj:
An Anand Karaj ceremony can be arranged here. ShaadiShop recognizes an Anand Karaj ceremony is traditionally performed in a Gurdwara. Baraat:
The venue welcomes car, horse and ele baraat's! A permit from the city may be required for a baraat involving an animal. See more info about permits below. Note: baraats are not allowed from the end of June thru Labor Day Weekend, due to heavy traffic for the SawDust Festival.
Seven Degrees is a unique, South Asian-friendly venue and (secretly) their staff told us they'd LOVE it if someone did an ele baraat there! #SouthAsianCultureRocks
Permits:
Contact the City of Laguna Beach regarding a permit for a baraat with an animal. They probably don’t get this inquiry very often so be prepared to explain.
The Terrace is covered from November to April. Ceremonies that don’t involve an open flame can be moved into the Media Lounge. They can be flexible with start/finish times to give rain a chance to let up. If additional tenting has to be put up, the venue will equally split the cost amongst all of the events they’re hosting that week.
